I am very saddened by the death of the Queen. Even as an older volunteer for RSBC she was the only Monarch I had known , and through good times and bad she always seemed like a source of comfort , stability and good sense. I saw her on 3 occasions but never met her , but I was proud to tell my friends that the Queen was the patron of the organisation I volunteered for ! God save the King !
